The loop used in Munbe Vaa is much different from the one you have
posted. What I think he is referring to is the hip-hop like, clap-
like beat that is repeated throughout the song. This one sounds
similar but the one A R R has used is similar.

It ain't an offence to use a loop beat as the base of the song.

Even Harris Jayaraj is guilty of it
-Mazhai Mazhai from Ullam Ketkumae
When I say this, you would instantly remember that he had copied
Muthu BGM for the starting, but I am referring to the repetitive
beat at the back throuhgout the song, also found in another song by
another MD

-Kadhal Yaanai from Anniyan, Kannum Kannum Nokia from Anniyan
This is the worst case of loop usage. The whole song (almost) is
made out of club loops and techno loops which I found easily in
other songs from other movies and even in ads.
Even A R Rahman himself has used a small portion of the loop found
in Remo song, in Mayilirage if you listen carefully.

So guys, loops are made to add spice to their songs by MD and you
see that Munbe Vaa, only the beats are formed by loops.
The beautiful Rango Rangoli show's ARR is a gem
