I don't know how I got pulled into this. I should have just stated
my opinions and ignored what followed. This is quite
uncharacteristic of me usually to be drawn down to a certain level of
useless discourse. My post about ARR fans being arrogant and insecure
do not pertain to disagreements per se with me on Sawariya's music,
but the general tone of the argument, as well as years of observation
of various discussions and posts (like wanting to ban all non ARR
posts). I feel one should be open minded and appreciative of all
types of music, respecting preferences, and to tolerate posts
pertaining to other musicians within a fan group, as long as it's
within reason. Like I asserted, I have no problems with people
disagreeing with me on opinion. You can hate Sawariya's music and I
will be ok with it. All I know is that when I listen to the
soundtrack, intellect and critique aside, it makes me feel damn
good. I think what pulled me into all of this is someone telling me
to stop posting non ARR material, of which I reacted defensively
henceforth. Next time, I'll hit my own ignore button.

BTW, your comment about ARR not wanting "craftman ahead of the craft"
rings true and clear. His music may just be a tiny drop in a mighty
ocean, but it sure makes a huge splash and wave nonetheless!

to Saawariya is certainly not coming out of insecurity. The music has
received mixed reviews with many known aficionados of music not
taking to it kindly. I, for one, thought Omkara was the best
soundtrack of last year, even ahead of Rang De Basanti and there is
no shame in admitting it. ARR did so himself.
