Hi Dear ARR fans, I always visited this site but i usually dont post reply nor start a new topic.But after i saw some comments made on ATM,i cant stay quiet anymore.Since i started visiting this site,whenever a ARR album released,i saw someone WILL post some thing about dissapointment.Its a complete nonsense.We have to understand that very2 few songs that we like after the 1st hearing.Its a human nature,resistance to accept new thing because they used to others,myb something like inertia in physics terms.If we analyze ARR songs from those days to now,you hardly will found any similarities between the songs.We often like the earlier film music by ARR.As time goes when we heard the songs repeated times in TV or radio,then we will say,'hey this song is not bad'.We are too curious waiting for his album,and we will listen the new releases with a very-very high expectation which i think is not fair to any music directors.Just think if we are not aware of ATM release and one day we heard it on the radio,im sure we will like the song.
Dear friends,we have to consider that this is a VJ film.We all know how VJs film music will be like.Music directors cant simply create a songs,it must caters the need of the director.Even ARR admit it when he said i remember "you canot simply said ok we have ARR,the music gona be chartbuster,directors have to play their part aso to bring the best out of us(MD)".That is a very true statement indeed. Ok lets talk about ATM.Im not particularly like what we call as gana or kuthu songs,so when ARR was signed 4 d movie,i realy wanted to see how ARR music gone be,and he didnt dissapoint me at all.I know some of us saying about lacking ARR touches on some of the songs,i can understand their feelings.SO i decided to make a review,not from my point of view but from a neutral perspective considerin the praises and critics received so far. 1.Ellapughalum -i cant recall a song that sung by ARR and havent become a hit.Hes a gt a gifted voice as well.So far,VJ fans cant live without the song,for them its on of the best.This song dont take much time to grow on you.Top notch,so energetic and fantastic music.The critics received about this song is, too much instrument used in the backgrond and have similarities to ARRs Anbe Aauyire, i think.Those who think like that,dont worry,it wont take much tile b4 u like it.Rating:9.5/10. 2.Poonmagal Remix -when i heard the sample release,i have to admit im a bit dissapointed as im expecting something like Thothal Poo Malarum.After the full song released,i realy appreciate the creativeness of the maker(ARR or assistant),im sure many would agree with me.This song missing ARR touches,agreed,but we all know ARR not keen on Remixes and im sure hes a bit dissapointed when asked to remix the song and rather asked his assistant to do it.Overall not bad,most people gona love it.Rating:8.5/10. 3.Nee Marilyn Monroe. -i personally believe its one of ARR best western type of songs.I jus cant get enough with it and my friends feeling the same way.I rely cant believe its done by ARR.Youthful lyrics and so relaxing to hear.Ok i agree it lacks ARR touches,but who cares,the song is rocking.Music is so beautiful and a good rap aso.The way words are pronounce are the strong point.Rating:9.0/10. 4.Valayapatti Thavil. -i tot its gona be another kamma karayil(varalaaru) after the sample.But actualy i lost my word,i cant rely classified this song in any category.I think this is the only song i yet to heard any critics and loved by almost everyone.This is not my pick of Album but still its a very good song.Nothing much to said,the song talk for itself.Rating:9.5/10. 5.Maduraiku Pogadhe -VJ fans are happy but ARR fans are not.All in all folk song.I dont realy like this kind of songs,but trust me,i loved it after repeated hearings.No MD im sure cant do this type of song,even its a folk song, it has ARR maximum touch in it im sure.If you still dont like then just ignore the song.Rating:8.5/10. 6.Kelamal Kayile -My favourite and im sure many have the same taste with me.Some are saying it reminds us of Mellisaiye(mr.Romeo),till now i cant find any basic to that.The male voice are top class and the female singer even weird at times,but were vere quite good.We cant see some experiment here,very high pitch of female voice at times that makes us uncomfortable,neverdles,its a great composition by ARR.Superb music and different technic.Rating:9.0/10. FRIENDS,WHAT IS CLEAR HERE IS, LOWER YOUR EXPECTATION A BIT AND LISTEN TO THE SONG AS A NEUTRAL YOU WILL AND ENJOY THE SONG AS I DID, RATHER THAN CRITICISE IT BECAUSE THIS ALBUM DIDNT DESERVES ANY CRITICS.I DONT RATE ANY SONG A PERFECT 10 COZ NOTHING IS PERFECT EVEN IF IT LOOK LIKE IT.
