//Yeah right. You must be very proud of how ATM got him fame. Such
beautiful tacks were wasted. :)

You said that ATM songs were hit. Then where is the question of not
getting enough recognition? Or you mean picturation is more important
than what people think about music? But I have totally a different
opinion about ATM music & the movie which I don't want to elaborate
here. BTW, what do you say anything about Humma Humma picturization,
1947, Meenaxi songs? :)

Anish: I would rather see 'Bombay', 'Dil Se' and 'Guru' as tamil
movies.... So 5 : 5 :).. As someone said, ARR does not write lyrics.
Pretty good point. Also, see, the same tune sounds good in both Tmail
& Hindi (for e.g. Dil Se). If it were composed for a particular
language, it should not have been good in tamil right?

ARR may have chosen movies based on his satisfaction. After spending
months composing music for a movie, if the movie does not do well
(Because of story / screen play / heroism, ...), one would definitely
get disappointed. For him, probabaly, to feel satisfied, the movie
needs to do well in BoxOffice also.

Thiruda Thiruda, Mr. Romeo, May Madham, Duet, En Swasa Katre songs
were major hit here. But then those movies flopped in BO. It's natural
for anyone to feel disappointed. Recent example being SOK. Don't say
songs were not recognized. Everyone loves those songs... But If the
movie had succeeded, they would have got more appreciation.
