If you didnt like the movie, its your problem. ARR gives the music for the film, and does the re-recording. After that, the movie is solely in the hands of the director and others. The failure of a movie AT THE BOX OFFICE does not mean they have devalued Rahman's music. In ATM's case, its purely the case of the fans not accepting its hero in such a different film.
Movie is not a flop. It will break even.
