I too share an emotion with this song. When I listen to some songs of Rahman i
get goosebumps. Thirakkatha includes that group. Especially the humming
"thanatara".. part..

Not that his other songs aren't but the composition is just fabulous!
A lot of ppl don't talk about it like Iruvar and Bose but when ever I
listen to this song it makes you feel good and refreshed.
The singer selection couldn't have been better with a lot of classical
touch in between the lines and great instrument usage and
orchestration.The piano interlude which I am guessing played by ARR is
sooo soothing. I think this is one of the classics of ARR. Even though
the song is 7 mins long it feels like it can go on for ever and ever
and you will just need more of it.. I simply love this song and feel
greatful to be able to hear such wonderful classics.
