Even I was very surprised to find Udit missing in the list of singers. To me, inspite of all the appreciation that has come across for Javed Ali, I can't help but notice minor glitches in the way he's sung 'Jashn-e-bahaar'. I would have loved to hear this song in the voice of Udit, especially since he has sung poetries so well (ae ajnabi-dil se, and various M.M.Kreem songs). Udit's voice is quite royal in nature, and would have had the smooth and fresh texture that was required for Jashn-e-bahaar. In fact a good comparison of the maturity of the voices - Udit and Javed can be seen in 'Jaane' from Chameli. Udit had truly shown why he is rated as one of the best singers.
