The first place will always go to Mani Ratnam, for introducing ARR with a bang in Roja and kept him experimenting in all his films. Even today first impression of Roja is what we expect in Every Rahman's new soundtrack.
Ashutosh deserves special place for giving pure Indian music through Rahman.
