This is a classic example of people blindly praising anything from Ilayaraja as masterpiece.
I have seen all 3 versions - Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam - and the music in Tamil version was the weakest of the 3 versions. Anyways, everyone has their opinions. I am out of this topic. Lets stick to A.R.Rahman alone in this group.
