I noticed that not only Kesariya Balam was sung in the Jaipur concert which was not surprising because of the Rajasthani roots of the song and the movie Dor..but this song has been performed in almost all Rahman concerts recently...I witnessed Karsan Saargathiya singing it in Toronto....
But eventhough this is not a rahman composition its simply a fabulous song...fabulous singing and breathtaking instrumentation... My question is whats the connection between rahman and this song? Is it his favorite song from the past few years thats not his? Or did he have something to do with this song?
