Hello friends, Im sure 99% of us must have a portable ditigal player, be it an ipod, creative, microsoft, sansa etc... which lack a cd player. My question is which best encoding can we use to retain all the sound quality from the audio cd. FLAC and WAVPACK, APE etc are not the norm on portable players.... so we are left with lossy mp3, wma etc... Technically, we can make a choice just by comparison of these encoders, but nothing is better than our ears and experience from listening to rahman's CDs. So any recommendations based on experience? How do u listen to rahman songs without the audio disc???
