I was listening to Raja sir's alaipayudae from the flim Ethanai Konam Ethanai Paarvai...wow ..brilliant..so much modulations and layers which is astounding. I am not sure here, coz situations in flims requirement might be different and music directors have to adhere to that. But arr alaipayudae was never in any class to raja sirs. Seriously me being arr fan...wants to be honest...the song rendered by kjy and sj was simply mind blowing. I am not sure whether can anybody be able to mix carnatic with western classical as such.
