With due respects to Jency, Somehow I have apprehensions hearing Jency NOW because I saw here in Sangamam prog which used to be telecasted in Vijay tv & Jency's voice had withered considerably to the extent that she was sounding off-shruthi almost throughout the prog. I am not sure how she would sing in a studio, may be definitely better , as singing live is not so easy as it seems!
This is what has happened to even to the great S.Janaki's voice too, its natural that generally voices wither with age, the notable exception being SPB, who STILL sounds awesome-Balleilaikka being a great example! 2008/9/17 rahmanfever <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > For many reasons, the 1980s is considered to be the golden age of Tamil > Film Music and one of the voices that was an integral part of that age was > the exquisite voice of Jency. > > As time the weary traveler plodded on, the singer found herself married > with children and settled down in Thiruvananthapuram.
