well i also wondered about this long ago. when i heard Roop suhana lagta hai first time, from it's style i knew it must be by ARR (and because AM can never compose something like this). as i investigated i found that it was originally composed by ARR and only re-arranged by AM for the hindi version. but then why it did not show ARR's name on credits?? because AM was a bigger name that time than ARR?? no clues.
