He has passed on and I don't think they're going to use his recording. Indiafm made a mistake by putting him as singer, but I think the song is based on his composition. He will be in the credits section. He may have sung this in a different raaga, but Shreya Ghoshal is going to sing this in Raaga Gujari Todi. Gujari Todi is not a singer. It's a raag. The same raaga that the song Piya Ho from Water is rendered.
