It just doesn't matter if he wins an award or not. Remember the criticism arr faced from india when he was starting out in the 90's ? he was ridiculed by our very own music stalwarts by saying it is his computer that composes the music! it is just the same thing. Some people will not be able to see the brilliance of a.r. initially because they are so trained to hearing the regular stuff and something path-breaking will take some time to grow on them. all that matters is his music is now being appreciated worldwide.. I don't really care if he gets an oscar or IFMCA ( whatever it is). and extremely happy to have won the Golden Globe.
