I think Sukhi felt hurt so much by not being able to attend the ceremony that he got slightly disoriented.
I am not saying it in negative sense. There had been talks from day one of nomination that sukhwinder and gang performing the song at the ceremony. There had been statements of sukhi and other how much enthused they all were, how much preparation they must have done - and the damn visa or letter doesn't appear. Anyone would be disappointed - so much disappointed that he becomes incoherent. So he spoke contradictory things or didn't realize that what he is speaking might mean what. Let's hope that all gets sorted out soon. Sukhi and our man have a long and fruitful association, I think 10 year old now. They have lot of love and respect for each other. Hope this sustains and they continue giving us lovely pieces in tandem. Sukhi is a composer himself.
