To participate in a music concert to help the HIV positive children, Oscar award winner A.R. Rahman is arriving at Trivandrum on April 14, on the Vishu Day. The programmes will be presented in three stages simultaneously, at Chandrasekharan Nair stadium, Central and Nisha Gandhi auditorium. When Rahman conducts the concert in one venue, members of his troupe will entertain the audience in other two stages. 107 musicians including foreigners will arrive. The aim of this different programme is to collect maximum amount of money from a vast audience to help the children. This is the first music fest Rahman attending after his Oscar achievement . Other than the famous playback singers many famous actors would sing along. The organisers of the fest is Global Kerala Initiative-Keraleeyam. Another Oscar winner Resul Pookuty will also be honoured in the fest.
Also the winners of Oscar award will be honoured by the organisations in the Malayalam film industry jointly. AMMA president Innocent said, the reception would be conducted after discussions with secretary Mohanlal and other members.
