An exclusive press meet was organized by the actor to express his congratulations to AR Rahman for winning the Oscars and he also shared his views about the Oscar awards. He opines that it's a scale which measures the quality of Hollywood cinema and not world cinema. Olympics is a competition conducted on a global scale but Oscars are for America alone and not to be considered to rate our movies. He also said that he's proud that one of us from Tamil Nadu has gone to make a mark and make India proud.
