It was the Year 1996, and there was a function in Mumbai for giving Awards. It was in that year that Rahman's " Rangeela" was rocking the entire North India. There was no Hindi speaking person who was not humming the tunes and songs. All Tea Shops echoed ARR's songs. Everyone was expecting the Award to go to Rahman. The Organisers of the Function come down to Chennai and invite him personally for the Function. Rahman obliges and goes to the awards Function.
When the name of the Music Director is announced, Rahman's name is not mentioned. The Award was given to some normal Hindi Movie, with music by some one else and which wasnt famous at all. At the last moment, dirty politics was played, and Rahman's name was eliminated from the stage. The Organiser comes and tells to Rahman that he himself doesnt know how this happened, and feels bad for the show. Rahman smiles at him and says, " God Is Great". In Reality, God is Really Great. Instead of giving some cheap awards to Rahman, God Has bestowed the One and Only Oscars to Him, and that too two in number ....
