Very interesting topic!

For your first reference to Arr's music is spiritually informed. I agree with
you in total there. Being spiritual in my opinion is being in sync with your
soul and mind. If the music is touching these two most important things which
is 'the actual self' its got to be highly spiritual. All of us have it in us to
relate to spiritualism in some mannerĀ  and music is the media which bonding us
all together to relate to spiritualism.
Today we are in a world where we can access diverse music and we also know each
type of music has its own merits. But when one is able to blend the diverse
music beautifully and give to us people are always ready to lap it up. Here as
ARR's fans we have people with similar tastes on a macro level and hence we are
able to gel well even though we have some difference of opinion within that
ambit.
Finally most fans here are knowledgeable. Its not easy for a common or lay man
to understand the intricacies of ARR's music. On the surface the music might
look simple but when one goes in depth one will find the nuances very complex.
ARR's fans are able to appreciate that andĀ  I guess that's where we are able to
gel well as a group. Exceptions are there here too!.
Last but not the least Arr's Compassion is bound to rub off on anyone who gets
to know him. Fans here atleast a majority of us are aware of this aspect of ARR
and subconsciously we all try to practice this. Arr is a trigger for all of us
to move in this direction. So we as fans are slowly moving towards the phrase
"Compassion Unlimited"

This question relates to our love for ARR and his music. I have

always been fascinated in the relationships between human variables

and music/art preference.

We all love ARR and his music for various reasons. There are many

individual differences as to why each of us loves his music so much.

But, I'm more interested in the common factors. We are part of a fan

group, posting messages, having ARR and his music as a big part of

our lives. This same question can be asked to any fan group of any

artist, but why is it that ARR's music touches us and impresses us AS

A GROUP and does not have the same effect on others? Again, I'm more

interested in COMMON human factors that bind us as a group that lead

us to be such passionate and devoted ARR fans.

Because ARR's music is so spiritually informed, are we as a group of

devoted ARR fans more sensitive to and attuned to spirituality in

general? Because ARR's music is so diverse and encompasses worldly

influences, are we as a group more worldly and tolerant in our

approach to human differences? Because ARR's music is often so thick

and layered and well textured, are we as a group for some reason

better able to process this complexity in more meaningful ways than

others who prefer simpler music by virtue of our education,

upbringing, or other factors? Are we as a group more compassionate

towards others since ARR is all about giving and helping?

Again, these are just thoughts. I'm interested in generating a

aningful discussion about what factors bind us as a group of

passionate ARR fans. Thanks for reading and hope to hear your

responses.
