Hi Vithur,Gops and all ARR fans, I have been a part of this group for almost 12 years now. Though i have not been able to be an active participant has been going through whenever i had time and has posted some messages. I am working as a Sous Chef on board Carnival Cruise Lines and been travelling around the Globe.I am a die hard fan of ARR Sir, and whenever a song or an album releases i somehow get hold of it and keep playing it and enjoy those songs to the max. All my Collegues here and my Boss know that and they too join me and enjoy that. When Slumdog Millionaire audio was launched I immediately got hold of it and played that in our office , in the first listen our Boss (Executive Chef Sanjay Dhall)was not all that happy and our friends too, but i was so happy with the songs that i kept playing them back to back and told them it takes a couple of listen for his songs to get into you. Later when i told him that it has won Golden Globe he was spellbound and still he was not that convinced but this time he spent some time listening to the songs in between his busy schedule, and slowly as we all know after couple of listen he started singing along Jai Ho and this time he was repeatedly playing it in our office,then it was Oscar Night and we all got together watching it live and were so happy that ARR got both as i had predicted, by this time JAIHO was playing back to back in our office and in our Galley(Kitchen). Now after this came the PussyCat Doll Remix of Jai Ho and Chef was so excited that he planned to have this song for the dance show that we host in our Dinning Roooms for our Guest after the meals.This dance is done by the waiters and after couple of days practise it was launched last week and it became an instant hit, i could see how the guest loved it, they danced together and enjoyed the song.I will post the video when i have time. Now yesterday our Company President and Vice President was on board and they instantly approved the song and dance to be performed fleetwide ( Carnival has 23 Ships). It was just an honour for me that i was just taking ARR Sir's music to the people and see them happy just the way i am when i hear one. Moreover his song is full of energy that even after a tiresome day of work one feels like dancing and relaxing to his tunes.That is what it is all about.His music gives us the energy to perform,energy to live,promotes love among people of different ages,caste or race.Thats ARR !!! As i told you i have been going places and i am back to US from a South American Run. And beleive it or not i heard this song in malls in Acapulco(Mexico), Rio de jeniro (Brazil),no jokes it has reached worldwide, and my Boss was with me and when he came back to ship he kept on telling everyone that how astonished he was listening to JAIHO in a place like that. Thats ARR's Reach !! JAI HO !!!! If by any chance this message is read by ARR Sir, we have one thing to say, we would love to have you on board any of our Ship of Carnival Cruise Line and it will be a honour for us to have you as a guest.
