Time's 100 list of World's Most Influential People features Oscar winner A R Rahman, co-performer of O Saya MIA and Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani.
This list is the choice of the editor of the magazine unlike the one that was out earlier based on an online poll, where the creator of 4chan.org, took the first place. In their annual TIME 100 issue, they have placed Democratic Senator Edward Kennedy at the first position, followed by British Premier Gordon Brown, the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 8th position, while President Barack Obama was given the 20th position. Nandan Nilekani was placed at 31, Maya Arulpragasam alias MIA at 43 and Rahman at 59 by the Editor of the magazine.
