I went to Kozhikode with great expectations and came back disheartened, to put
it mildly.
To borrow a cliché from our feature writers, the atmosphere was electric. But
unfortunately the maestro and his team let everyone down, above all themselves.
Adding insult to injury those organizer clowns put up a disgusting and
offensive show in between "exhibiting" those unfortunate kids infected with HIV
virus on stage.
Rahman could have definitely refused to participate in that nauseating act.
I think it was sheer overconfidence and preconceptions about “small towns” that
messed up the performance and I sincerely hope they would get over such
cheekiness before the next show.
Wishing the maestro the very best.
