I beg to differ...I don't think any song for that matter could be qualified as average-number.
A tune/song is composed based on the inspiration given by the director of the film and with accordance to the needs of the director. Thus, if a Lattoo, or a Aditi is composed in the way it is, the only reason would be because the director feels that the particular song is apt for the scene in the movie. Therefore to dismiss such songs by saying that it is short-lasting and average is simply not right. And I personally don't think that time is a major drawback for ARR. In fact, tt's a known fact that ARR composed for nearly 35 films in the first 5 years of his career...and if you guys notice, in the years of 1994-1995 itself, ARR had worked in nearly 10 films, creating phenomenal numbers which is evident in movies like Duet, May Madham, Kadhalan, Karuthama, Puthiya Manargal, Bombay, Indra, etc in addition to his first Hindi venture...Rangeela. If he could create such beautiful compositions in such a short span of time, then time is definitely not a hindrance to his work. Nevertheless, he could only produce such compositions if the directors could inspire him and get the best out of him. --- On Wed, 5/27/09, rivjot <[email protected]> wrote: From: rivjot <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [arr] No new releases for the past 4months. I can agree on Bachchu & Lattoo being average numbers, but not Guzarish & Aditi. --- In arrahmanfans@ yahoogroups. com, kishore parayath <kishore.parayath@ ...> wrote: > > Earlier...
