Well, could the reason to ARR's non-commitment in Telugu industry be because of his new-found career in bollywood at the same point of time? When Rangeela happened, there was no turning back for ARR any longer. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, he hardly made any moves towards other languages with the exception of the Tamil, after Rangeela happened.
As far as the number of languages he composed, I believe he has composed original tracks in about 5 languages namely, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and English.
