I feel Rahman is remembered in India more during the Independance day than on
anyother ocassion(not even on his birthday's)...though the scenario has changed
post oscars wherein you have Rahman on news every day..
You will have the channels playing most of his songs and movies, His Vande
matram version will be played more than anything else during that day, special
articles in print media on ARR and so many things like these.....
Nice to see Rahman's name in Week's 25 most valuable Indian's. Looking forward
to many such things in coming days...
btw..SdM's Hindi version will be shown coming August 15th on Set Max..
