yes,
this is a very good application for starters. For noise good removal try 
diamond cut. This works like no other stand alone app. You can even restore bad 
or old recordings.

                  I recommend you guys download this software. It's free. There 
is a
function called noise removal in it which I find very helpful. For
example, certain BGMs might have the wind sound which is annoying.
Using this software, you can remove that particular by choosing a
portion where only that sound can be heard. Then after you have
selected the noise, you can apply the effect to the whole track. The
software can remove the noise even if it is mixed with the main audio...
