Honestly, but this is just my opinion... i hae no problems with the High Notes
segment ranking of Delhi 6 below DEv D and what's your raashee.

Planet Bollywood i have found to be genuine in their assessment of music coming
form the Hindi industry.

I can understand Dev D and What's Your Raashee being higher than Delhi 6 on the
grounds that to the general public...there where little expectations...the
music is by newcomers and so blew everyone away. Rahman has already made his
mark and expectations are always going to be high...and sometimes a bit
diffucult to meet as Blue was.

I expected good music from both new individuals Amit Trivedi (who was excellent
in his first piece Aamir) and Sohail Sen who did a good song in his first
venture Sirf.

As a fan of music, all of these albums would be dear to me and I would not rnk
one higher over the other...Hence I am not bothered t the end of the day music
won. More than a fan of Rahman, I am a fan of Good music and it was being a fan
of good music that made me a fan of Rahman.

That is me... everyone is entitled to their own views.

Vedavid.

Read - "Note: Aakash Gandhi, our Managing Editor and founder of this popular
feature was sadly unable to write this piece for 2009. However the excellent
news is that we are expecting him back sometime soon in 2010 so watch this
space!"

Surely he would have placed Delhi-6 on number 1.
I liked both Dev D and Raashee music, in personal ranking I would place them
below D6 and above Blue (from 2009 music). I am predicting Amit Trivedi will
win RD Burman award of upcoming music talent (for Dev D) this year.. and hoping
Rahman will win best music for D6.

@ ichord - Interestingly you didnt say anything about Blue (placed on # 13)
because if I recall you just loved that album.
