To get a oscar song nomination the prime factor is the Movie.... if the movie is really good.. then the song/music used in that movie could be considered.....
Being music the 1st priority I'm confident Rahman would have got a nomunation... Still I hope he should get a nomination for CR..as the music is outstanding...
