Madras, and the excitement never ends. Tuesday will be another exciting day for
AR Rahman’s fans as the nominations for the 82nd Academy Awards will be
announced. His song Na Na for the film, Couples Retreat, is among the 63 on the
shortlist for nomination in the Best Original Song category.Couples Retreat,
directed by Peter Billingsley, is a romantic comedy, with 15 songs composed by
Rahman. Na Na, written by Rahman, BlaaZe and Vivian Chaix, marks the debut of
Rahman’s son Ameen in singing. Vivian, Clinton and Dominic, BlaaZe and Rahman
are the other singers.At the 81st Academy Awards last year, Rahman had been
nominated for the film, Slumdog Millionaire, in the Best Original Song and
