Well my dear friends, who are not liking d album yet...u have two things to
choose one from:
1. Give more listening to it which would hopefully help u all identifying at
least part of the brilliance that every ARR soundtrack has.
2. This is a more easier thing to do. Don't post your negative views. It is said
'speak good all the time..' If you sincerely don't like it just stay away. You
are no way forced to put a positive opinion. But if you like it ,everyone here
is up to share your excitement.
Its a conscience thing- if you want to spread happiness around just stay away
from speaking bad about anything.
I'm yet to have my hands on the CD,which would take a day or two atleast.Happy
to share all your excitement till then, but sorry not your aversion.

regards,harshavardhan

AJ, I am also seeing lot of positive reactions on the net, but there are
also negative remarks...the fact i am unable to digest is that there is no
instantly hummable tune in this album. Kata Kata had huge expectations from me,
but this song sounds to me like a fun song with lot of variations in beat and
singing. the structure and variation being changed in AR's songs is seen
nowadays a lot. It irritates the listener and makes him think that where the
song is going. Beera is good but short. lot of beera beera repetitions, they
could have made the song longer with 2 stanzas. I have bn following ARR form 92
so i am used to this initial not liking, and then getting impressed. But still,
I feel this album is a disappointment. It makes me wonder whether is this the
combination which gave "Vellai
pookal", "pachai nirame", "Dilse", "Bombay", "thiruda thiruda" to the world.

I respect your initial impressions, but please give it some time and try to
avoid conclusive statements for now.

This album is not going to be liked by everyone. You're right, the song
melodies and structures for the most part are complex and not straightforward,
which may not be everyone's preference.

Some pretty extreme first impressions I'm seeing on the net...but, most
comments are positive and many saying it's one of ARR's finest works.

Average score by ARR for a Mani movie. Expected a lot out of this. This may be
the weakest of all ARR-Mani (weaker than Guru) combos.
