It's been two days and I have to admit that I still haven't been able to absorb
the soundtrack in full. There's so much left to discover. The intricate
arrangement of notes and instruments is just mindblowing. For me, Raavan has
brought together the sounds of the North and the South together in an extremely
beautiful package. Raw yet refined sounds. I feel so unfortunate to not be able
to understand the lyrics especially Behene De. And for this, I am really
looking forward to the tamil OST. Please please please release the other
versions of the soundtrack soon. Any chance of a release date on arr.com? ( I
know I am pushing my luck here, but hey, I've got to try!) :)
Amazed by the two e-mails from disappointed fans. Surprisingly my friends who
usually like to fuss are totally excited about the soundtrack and the general
feeling seems to be more positive than usual. I think I would have been
disappointed if this was another VTV or another D6 or even another JA. What
would be the point if it was like another soundtrack? Raavan for me has carved
it's own place in the list of favourite AR soundtracks and will stay there for
a very long time for me - just like Roja. It's special. Mani and AR have a
very special place in my life. My sincere thanks to both for bringing us some
of the best in cinema and music. Always.
