I guess Dinesh was trying to introduce tamil songs to Taimur (assuming he may
not have had the chance to listen to them). Another masterpiece during that
time was 'Kizhakku Cheemaiyile' . It proved to the critics that Rahman is not a
city boy who creates western tunes on a computer (Man, how many people have i
heard that from in the beginning years) but can belt out equally brilliant
village tunes that resonates beyond boundaries. Indira was awesome too - Thoda
Thoda, Nila Kaigiradhu, Odakaran Marimuthu.. Aahh!! Divine.

I still distinctly remember the first time i heard each of these albums and the
time my dad declare after listening to Duet that Rahman is the best musician
India has ever produced.

And yes, Thiruda Thiruda Rocks!!

Cheers,
Srini
