Yeah but that disappointment of not seeing them  would pale in comparison to 
not having to listen to them at all. 

For example the majority of the songs in D6 were edited out to smaller numbers. 
While a few people objected to this, having full songs on the CD is a much 
desirable option than not having them at all or having smaller versions of the 
songs on the CD .

And also "Be happy with you got"  is not exactly palatable. If I were to attend 
a feast with 100 items on the table and my host would tell me that only one 
particular item is "off limits" to me I would crave just for that item the 
most. 

Didn't Gordon Gekko very famously utter in Wall Street that "Greed is Good"

If they were included in the CD but not in the film, we would be disappointed 
that the songs were wasted by Mani. Either ways we complain.
