He wud not have attended even if he is not busy with some other projects as 
that will hurt a lot of tamil people and i hope ARR wud not do that...

Nope, thats not correct! ARR didnt attend because of Jai Ho concerts, not 
because of Tamil protests. 
IIFA has given awards to some weird nominations this time (not only in Music 
categories), perhaps it was different jury this time. Hoping to have better 
results next year onwards.
