Just curious.

What description could have been given by Mani to ARR for creating
Ranjha as came out in the CD version. That was a mutual love song, so
in the scheme of things it could only have fitted on Dev and Ragini or
on Beera's sister and her fiance.

Ranjha's Cd version couldn't at all have been fit on Beera and Ragini
because Ragini was never in love with Beera.

So, why did Mani change the situation of the song and decided to shoot
it on Beera and Ragini, that needed such a transformation.

of course, a la Dard e Disco, ranjha's CD version could have been in
Beera's dream with ragini, though Mani is not known to use such
escapist route to fit on a song.

People are appreciating this song. I couldn't even notice this song in
the film, whereas it is said to have been at two places. I am
wondering whether the version I saw was the full movie version because
ud ja rey was for a few seconds in the end while Beera falls down the
hill dying.

Actually, I think, all that mud and white paste on Abhi's face every
now and then was probably used to remedy that, but it didn't work.
:-) :-) :-)
