"Besides this, also note that every human has creative limitations....ARR cannot be endlessly creative in giving master pieces like Dilse or Taal at every attempt...arent we demanding soooo much...?"
We can't have human expectations out of ARR and he himself is responsible for it! His past work has created this kind of unrealistic expectations. He has taught us to expect album after album where each and every song is a masterpiece, for years at a stretch. I would think such a thing is humanly impossible, but ARR himself has proved otherwise. So, when we come across albums which don't strike as anything of that league after multiple listens and sincere "effort" to like, it does feel disappointing. I am a very very big fan of ARR and don't blame him for anything. Maybe it's a change of style or more probably just the kind of films he is doing these days! But it's sad that I spend so much more time listening to his older songs these days than the latest releases. Among his recent compositions, I like Ravanan and VTV a lot, but still nothing like Indhira, Kandukondain, Kannathil Muthamittal and so many others! Personal opinion of course, I know many others don't feel this way. ARR is a genius of super-human proportions and nothing that he does now or in the future is going to change that. It follows naturally that we will have unrealistic expectations from him :) Wishing all of us many more years of his mesmerizing music! --- In [email protected], "yeshrao81" <yeshra...@...> wrote: > > Lot of you are complaining Endhiran is childish, depressing, repetitive in > sound, not even a single memorable tune blah blah blah... > > Guys common give it a thought...What type of score would you expect for a > sci-fi?
