** The dde.ini is in the User Tool help in a textual form. Just copy and paste into a Text formatted .ini file. Just search dde   If DDE does go away, Crystal Reports can output to Excel and several other formats. You just have to build a “flat” structure.   I personally don’t see how DDE would ever go away though. There are several people which use ole, etc and surely this would never go away.
