Susan,

I’m acutally going to another part of the desert that’s about 10 degrees hotter than here.

Here at Edwards, this is considered the high desert average summer temp is about 103.

Bob,
You crack me up.... I was being purposfully vague because the position
hadn't been offically posted yet.  Here's what they've release

Please see the attached Arcata job posting for a System Administrator/Remedy
Developer position.

You can also visit the RF&ESS Program Office or the Arcata website
( www.arcataassoc.com) for information for other job opportunities on the
RF&ESS Contract at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center.

This is a fulltime position, System configuration is Win2K3 server for the
AR server (6.0), with a Sun V240 running Solaris 10 for the mid-tier (6.3).
This is a fulltime, salaried, full benefits (vacation, 401k, insurance,
holidays) position.  It's my old job, I'm leaving to go the another base.

Thank you,

The interesting thing about the job posting is that the poster doesn't
mention a job, or location, or anything.  Reminds me of the 1990's when
some guy in an apartment would collect resumes, then match the resume
with a real job posting, and collect a finder's fee.  Around DC there
are way too many subcontractor to subcontractor to prime contractor to
customer relationships.  Has anyone figured out effective ways to cut
out all of these middle guys and bill clients directly?  They really
don't offer anything in the way of value-add.
