We have had this problem before (ARS 6.0.1 (patched), W2K, MSSQL2K). We have found that when AR Server loses contact with the database for a while then , when contact is re-established, everything appears to work wonderfully except escalations. I have found that a complete shut-down of all AR System processes and then bringing them back up usually restores things without having to reboot the server. Cheers,
