Balaji - we have been fighting the dreaded "RPC Bind" issue for years. Remedy's answer has always been it's a "firewall issue". Our network shop has monitored the connection for a considerable length of time from start to finish on several occasions without finding a problem, we ran Ethereal for a month straight - found nothing of help and to this day we still receive the error (though the errors seem to have tapered off a bit with patch 16 to Mid-Tier 6.3). I'd be interested in a solution as well :-)

But, no idea how the connection is resumed again. Stange thing is, it works perfectly fine in this setup and once in a while looses connectivity in this way. In case any one has faced a similar problem or any help in this regard is appreciated.
