A better solution for apache is to add this to the http.conf (the virtual host for port 80):
RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^(.*) https://your.server.com$1 [R] -- Jarl On 5/2/06, George Barsan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
** I'm not familiar with IIS6, but this would be a really easy task with Apache.. 1) Setup a Virtual Host for http://yourserver.com 2) Create an index.htm(l) in the DocumentRoot directory for the HTTP-virtual host: <html> <head> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="-1"> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2; URL= https://yourserver.com"> </head> <body> <center><p> Proceed to the <a href="https://yourserver.com ">HTTPS interface</a>. </p> </center> </body> <html> 3) Setup a Virtual Host for https://yourserver.com & configure ARS to use this address I assume that something similar should be possible with IIS too.
