It appears that the certificate files are not proper. I wish I had an idea on how to fix this for you, but I don't. Maybe another list member has been throuh this and can provide assistance.

I've created cert7.db and key3.db files using certutil utility (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/tools/certutil.html). We do not have IIS installed on our AD domain controllers, so I couldn't use Netscape 4.79.
I've tried to provide a wrong password and got the same result.
I don't think that it is a misprint - I've tried the same with Softerra LDAP browser (http://ldapadministrator.com/download/index.php) which also uses cert7.db and key3.db for connecting over SSL - it hangs while connecting.

I think that an LDAP Error 91 is that the LDAP server rejected your authentication attempt. Did you verify your user login? Also, did you get the certificate file as per the directions and test it before using it with your LDAPS connection?

Hello List,
I am trying to configure LDAP Plug-in (MS Active Directory) over SSL (http://www.remedy.com/customers/dht/archive/11-01-2005_A.htm).
While creating vendor form I am getting the following error:
"Cannot connect to the directory service: Can't connect to the LDAP server (LDAPERR 91) (ARERR 3375)."
I do not understand what LDAP error code 91 means.
