** Thanks for the information - I think it is the name - it has a $ and a % in it.  But, because I have everything else in except these few items I now can't make changes to it.  Any suggestions.  Can you turn Source Control Off and then Turn it back on and still maintain the database that was created prior.

Pam,

I have three guesses for you.

1) These objects have a strange special character in the name that the
SC system does not like.

2) These objects have names that exist in other ARS name spaces but
the SC system is not treating them as separate name spaces.

3) The SC system is "out to lunch" and needs some SC admin attention.


You could try to ...

Export the object in question.
Launch the SC client directly.
Add the object to SC via it's client.
And maybe get a better error message.
