Dear Listers,
The Server is in a different physical location and the client is in another physical location.
I guess the date/time fields show the server time by default. The time shown in the date/time field is that of GMT and he wants it to show according to his local time.
I have tried asking the user to set the TimeZone (and locale) in his aruser client but he says he can't see his timezone (GMT + XX30 hrs) in the Locale tab.
He can see all (GMT + xx00 hrs) but not (GMT + xx30) hrs. (where xx = 01, 02....)
Any idea whether the TimeZones listed in the locale tab is picked from the OS?
Any idea why he is not able to see GMT + XX30 TimeZones?
Client is on a windows server 2003 OS.
ARS is on HPUX 11.11
ARS 5.1.2 (1350)
Oracle 9i
