Expand your table field qualification to include the variable criteria
(probably field references to them).

On your trigger condition, the button, set your variable field, then do
a
Change Field to refresh your table field.

Your table field qualification would look something like this:

'Status' < "Resolved" AND 'Category' = $Variable Category$

You'd probably want to test $Variable Category$ for $NULL$ before the AL
that refreshes the table field. You might also want to consider using a
character field with a menu for your user to select the variable
category.
Instead of a button for your Execute On, you could use Menu/Row Choice.

** You need the external function and you need to build the
qualification
as a text string in some temporary variable. It's not hard to do, but
you
should probably deal with the headache first. 8)

Hey Folks,

I have a table field In a display only form that I want to display a
subset
of information on.

Table Properties: Status < Resolved & Category = Default

I'd like to be able to press a button and have that filtered down to
display just a particular groups open tickets, but stay in this form and
page field.

I'm sure there are some good ways to do this, but my head hurts right
now.

Thank You,

Chris Doble
