Make sure guide 1 refreshes table 2 BEFORE calling guide 2 else you will appear 
to have the symptoms you describe but will have in fact reprocessed table 2 the 
number of times equal to the number of records of table 1 but always with the 
same data.

Also make sure that any exit guides only exit the single guide.

Finally, look at your logs.  Guide are a little hard to follow in the logs but 
you will know exactly what is happening and why.
