Interesting, I had a very similar problem just last week. After
uninstalling Migrator 6.0 and installing the 1488 patch, I ran into all
kinds of issues because of two dll's: mfc42.dll and olepro2.dll. I didn't
realize the number of programs that depend on this two dll's until this
happened. Restoring these dll's from cache fixed my problem. I attributed
the problem to not rebooting between the uninstall and the install, but
that's just a guess - I didn't test my hunch.

I downloaded and installed the new migrator (after uninstalling the old and
rebooting the machine). Whenever I try to run it, I get an error that it
cannot find the MFC71U.DLL and refuses to start.
Anyone else having this issue? (I did place a tkt.).
