I've been running the 7.0 client against our apps today, and it doesn't seem to have improved in any obvious areas, but our servers aren't the quickest.
However, there is one interesting behaviour difference - our main helpdesk console, at least on my view, is (slightly) larger than the screen size. on the 5.1.1 and 6.3 clients, they orient to the top left of the display, the
7.0 client orients towards the bottom right, which is a tad irritating.
But boy, is it a big application! 118meg.
6.3 patch 16 was 70 meg. Patch 15 was 40. And 5.1.1 was 20 meg.
Are we heading to the great world of Microsoft style bloatware?
